Sydney SportFishing Adventures has been built on a passion for fishing, sharing knowledge and creating unforgettable experiences on the water.
From its beginnings on the Hawkesbury River to its exciting next chapter today, the business has always been about helping anglers build confidence, improve their skills and chase memorable catches.
Sydney SportFishing Adventures was established in late 2010 by previous owner Dan Selby.
Based around the Hawkesbury River and Sydney Harbour, the business quickly built a reputation for providing personalised, educational and exciting fishing experiences for anglers of all skill levels.
A NEW CHAPTER
MEET MITCH HINES
In early 2025, Dan Selby proudly handed Sydney SportFishing Adventures over to Mitch Hines, who continues to carry the business into its next chapter.
Having fished from a very young age, Mitch brings a lifetime of experience, knowledge and passion to every trip. Years spent on the water have allowed him to develop and master a range of fishing techniques with precision and accuracy.
Mitch has also enjoyed success in competitive fishing, with wins in an ABT Bass Tournament and the East Coast Bream Series. His time competing has further developed his skills and knowledge across a variety of fishing styles and conditions.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or new to fishing, Mitch is passionate about sharing his knowledge, helping anglers improve their skills and making every trip on the water a memorable one.
