What we do

Sydney Sportfishing Adventures offer on water tuition and full or half day lure and live bait charters on Sydney Harbour and the Hawkesbury River.

  • Half day charters can be a morning or afternoon start and are approximately 5hr (Hawkesbury River tours).

Catch, Photo, Release

SSA fully supports the practice of catch, photo, release.

To help sustain healthy fisheries well into the future SSA has developed their own bag and size limits that are within the current NSW fisheries limitations to protect highly pressured and valued species. Fresh fish is great source of Omega 3’s and essential fish oils and is highly recommended in your diet. To this end, SSA believes in only taking what you need for your immediate consumption, not filling your freezer!
Dan will happily clean your catch at the end of the charter so don’t forget a small Esky (keep in car). There is usually some spare ice in the on board Esky to keep your fillets cold for the trip home.
